He also has a way with the cooks at LeRoy's who make his fried egg sandwiches just the way he likes them. Ride with him and you may develop a few special techniques of your own.</div> </tD> </tR> <tR> <tD VALIGN=TOP HEIGHT= 134 WIDTH="684"><div>  <A NAME="for_2008"><IMG BORDER="0" SRC="1x1.gif" HEIGHT="1" ALIGN="bottom" WIDTH="1" HSPACE="0" VSPACE="0" ></A><FONT SIZE="3" COLOR="#FF0000" FACE="Arial" ><B>For 2008 our MNR and WNR events</B></FONT> will go on whether Rich Ries is in attendance or not - his work schedule remains full and his availability questionable. <I><B>However, another BRAT member who has attended our Ride Leader course must agree to lead the ride.</B></I> If that doesn't happen and the ride goes on, it is NOT a BRAT event and riders proceed simply as members of the general public. Our Ride Leader course was offered on Saturday, March 29 and was attended by Mark Gish, Byron Nagel, Bud Reed, and David Stucker. Rich Ries was the instructor. We'll schedule another session if there's sufficient interest.</div> </tD> </tR> <tR> <tD VALIGN=TOP HEIGHT= 57 WIDTH="684"><div> Our annual "In, around and downtown Gish HICK Rides" have concluded for the year now that our regular MNR and WNR rides have begun. Our thanks to Byron Nagel for leading the pre-season events.</div> </tD> </tR> <tR> <tD VALIGN=TOP HEIGHT= 76 WIDTH="684"><div> Weekend rides take us onto the roads near home or to various mountain bike trails. We also do  <A NAME="h_i_c_k__rides"><IMG BORDER="0" SRC="1x1.gif" HEIGHT="1" ALIGN="bottom" WIDTH="1" HSPACE="0" VSPACE="0" ></A>H.I.C.K™ Rides (Historic Indiana Countryside on Knobbies)  where we use our mountain bikes to explore the remote back roads in our area. No registration is required for recurring events (e.g. MNR, WNR). If there are no registrations we reserve the right to cancel or change the event. If no fee is involved, “registration” is simply a phone call or an e-mail to let us know you'll be attending. All events are subject to change. Please check the Web site or contact us for the latest information. <B>Cancellations</B> If we cancel, pre-registrants will receive a full refund as their only compensation. Pre-registrants who cancel more than 48 hours before the start of an event will receive a full refund. Pre-registrants who cancel 48 hours or less before the start of a ride will receive no refund, but may use their full registration fee for future events.<B> </B><IMG SRC="242745b0.png" border=0 width="116" height="91" ALIGN="LEFT" HSPACE="0" VSPACE="0"><B>Support</B> All participants on BRAT rides receive  <A NAME="sag_lite"><IMG BORDER="0" SRC="1x1.gif" HEIGHT="1" ALIGN="bottom" WIDTH="1" HSPACE="0" VSPACE="0" ></A>SAG Lite - we'll perform those repairs we can handle with the tools we have on hand. Some rides include additional services, which will be detailed in the listing. However, riders and their bikes should be in shape to complete our events unaided. When we vanpool and at most other times when the BRATmobile is available, we have snacks and bottled water and the capacity to perform somewhat more complex repairs. We may also be able provide rides to participants in need.
